BLACK MAGIC M-66(ブラックマジック M-66)

Overview:

This OVA is based on the 4th episode, “Booby Trap”, of “Black Magic”, a work by SF manga artist Masamune Shirow during his doujin activities. It was released by Bandai Visual on June 28, 1987. It was directed by Masamune Shirow himself, and he wrote the script and storyboard himself. The M-66 android is a military weapon for infiltration and assassination. It is as small as a small man or woman and can move at a terrifying speed. The fingers on both hands are equipped with ejection weapons called wire claws, and one of its two eyes has a camera and the other has a laser cutter. The scariest thing about it is its incredible durability. When it was dropped from the top of a skyscraper and stopped working, it was not destroyed; it just temporarily stopped working due to overheating.
