Kanashimi yo Konnichiwa(悲しみよこんにちは)

Overview:

Kanashimi yo Konnichiwa (悲しみよこんにちは) is the fifth single album by Yuki Saito (斉藤由貴), released on March 21, 1986.
Kanashimi yo Konnichiwa was selected as the opening song for the Fuji TV animation Maison Ikkoku (めぞん一刻). It is the only theme song sung by a female singer in a TV animation.
At the end of the same year (1986), she made her first appearance as a singer and host at the 37th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen, and sang this song as the host at the age of 20, the youngest ever to host the event.
The B-side song Ohikkoshi Wasuremono (お引越し・忘れもの) was written by Yuki Saito.
