Overview:

MACROSS PLUS (マクロスプラス) is an official sequel that continues the story after the events of Super Dimension Fortress Macross. The general director is Shoji Kawamori, and at the time, a new director, Shinichiro Watanabe, took charge of the actual megaphone, and the work was assembled by an extremely luxurious staff including Keiko Nobumoto for the script, Yoko Kanno and Hajime Mizoguchi for the music, and Ichiro Itano, Masami Goto, and Yasushi Muraki for the mecha animation. The original animators were also first-class animators from Gainax and Bones. Kawamori planned the scenario and worldview, while Shinichiro Watanabe and Keiko Nobumoto created the details. As for directing, Kawamori mainly worked on the camera work and composition, and Shinichiro Watanabe did the details. It consists of 4 LD disks.
