Overview:

The first OVA and spin-off anime in the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, directed by Fumihiko Takayama. It is the first Gundam directed by a director other than Yoshiyuki Tomino, and the first Gundam not to feature Amuro Ray or Char Aznable. It is also noteworthy that a significant portion of the staff came from “The Super Dimension Fortress Macross” rather than Gundam. The first episode was released in March 1989, and it ended with a total of six episodes.
