Shiroi Honoo(白い炎)

Overview:

Shiroi Honoo (白い炎) is the second single album by Yuki Saito (斉藤由貴), released on May 21, 1985.
It sings about the feelings of a high school girl who was unable to confess to the boy she had a crush on, and was stolen by another man.
The faint sound heard for about 5 seconds in the intro depicts a scene of burning candle flames.
It was selected as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama Sukeban Deka (スケバン刑事), in which Yuki Saito played the first Saki Asamiya (麻宮サキ).
Shiroi Honoo has different single and original album versions, but the album version was used in Sukeban Deka.
