The Silhouette album is the third studio album by Seiko Matsuda, released on May 21, 1981. The Silhouette album gained great popularity and commercial success upon its release. Through this album, Seiko Matsuda established herself as an artist representing Japanese popular music, rather than simply being an idol singer.
The main tracks on the album are Cherry blossom(チェリーブラッサム), the fifth track, and Natsu no tobira(夏の扉), the eighth track.
