Squall is the first studio album by Seiko Matsuda, released on August 1, 1980. Through this album, Seiko Matsuda established herself as a representative female idol in Japan with her innocent image and refreshing voice. The album’s musical style is characteristic of early 1980s Japanese pop music, and includes bright, upbeat melodies as well as emotional ballads. The main tracks are track 8, Aoi Sangoshou (青い珊瑚礁), and track 5, Hadashi No Kisetsu (裸足の季節).
